Eight stitched squares, three patterns, one sparkly sentiment — that's really all this card takes to feel like a whole gift wrapped up in cardstock. We love how a simple grid layout can turn a handful of paper scraps into something that looks so pulled-together. It's an easy one to whip up in batches too, so if you've got a big card list this season, this layout is worth bookmarking. Grab your favorite prints and let's get stamping!

Project Details & Inspiration

Our card base started with Secret Sea Cardstock, folded and burnished along the score line for a crisp edge. We die cut eight little squares from A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper using the Stitched Stockings Dies, pulling from the navy snowflake, green floral, and red candy cane patterns, then arranged them in a grid on Basic White Cardstock, leaving an open spot for our sentiment.
The focal point came together on a smaller piece of Basic White Cardstock, where we stamped "Merry Christmas to you and yours" in Real Red ink and added a few floral accents in the corners with Secret Sea ink from the Stitched Stocking Stamp Set, then matted it onto Secret Sea Cardstock and popped it up with Dimensionals right into that open space. To finish things off, we tied a little bow from Real Red Stitched Ribbon and tucked it just under the sentiment, then scattered a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels around for some extra sparkle.
