Some cards are just meant to make people smile and this one does exactly that. Featuring the Perfectly Pears Bundle and Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!, this handmade friendship card is sweet, simple, and bursting with charm.
We wanted to create something that feels as heartfelt as the sentiment itself: “A good friend is a gift.” And what better way to say it than with soft watercolor pears and cheerful greens that practically glow on your desk? It’s a card that feels fresh, cozy, and oh-so-inviting, kind of like your favorite crafting night with friends.
Project Details & Inspiration
We’re seriously in love with how this card turned out. The Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper does most of the heavy lifting here (don’t you love when that happens?). Those watercolor pears look like they were painted by hand, and when paired with the rich Old Olive cardstock, it’s perfection.
That front panel folds open to reveal more of that stunning paper inside — making this a card that’s just as gorgeous when it’s open as when it’s closed. The die-cut pears from the Perfectly Pears Bundle add the perfect finishing touch, layered on top of a stitched sentiment panel that says it all: A good friend is a gift.
And honestly? We couldn’t agree more.
