A Prayers & Promises Card Featuring Thoughtful Journey DSP

Project Details & Inspiration
Our card starts with a Very Vanilla Cardstock base with another layer of Very Vanilla Cardstock, which we ran through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine using the Damask Designs Embossing Folder to add a beautiful tone-on-tone texture across the front. We then layered on a vertical strip of Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper, letting that gorgeous watercolor thistle artwork do the heavy lifting as the backdrop for the whole design.
For the focal point, we stamped the sentiment from the Prayers & Promises Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and die cut it using the Forever Florals Dies, then layered it onto a slightly larger shape cut from Pretty Peacock Cardstock to give it that rich, framed look. We used Dimensionals to pop the whole sentiment panel right off the surface, giving it some wonderful dimension where it sits across the DSP strip and embossed vanilla panel. To finish everything off, we tucked a few Iridescent Foil Gems onto the DSP strip to catch the light and add just the right amount of sparkle!
