Valentine’s Day cards don’t have to be complicated to feel special, and this one is a great example of that! We love how this design keeps things simple while still feeling thoughtful and full of heart. The panel-style layout makes it easy to put together, and the patterned paper does so much of the work for you.
Using the Endless Love Bundle with the Made with Love Designer Series Paper gives this card a classic Valentine look that feels warm and intentional. It’s the kind of card we love having on hand when we want to send a little love without spending hours at the craft table!
Project Details & Inspiration
This card uses a bold panel-style layout that lets the DSP be the main focus. The mix of patterns from the Made with Love Designer Series Paper adds interest across the card front without overwhelming the design, thanks to the crisp cardstock framing that keeps everything grounded.
The sentiment from the Endless Love Bundle is layered over the panels, creating a strong focal point that immediately draws your eye in. The stitched label (made using the Everyday Arches Dies) softens the look just enough, while the small envelopes from the Loose Valentine's Assortment Embellishments accents sprinkled throughout the design. A simple black twine tie finishes the sentiment layer and brings in a touch of texture.
Even with multiple patterns in play, the card feels balanced and cohesive. Each panel has its own moment, but they work together to support the sentiment and keep the design feeling polished. And to be honest, once everything is cut, this card is pretty easy to put together.
Practical tip: When mixing several patterns on one card, keeping a consistent cardstock border around each panel helps the design feel organized and visually calm.
