Bright & Fun Birthday Card with the Boardwalk Fun Bundle

The ferris wheel from the Boardwalk Fun Bundle is SO much fun to play with! I mean how adorable did this card turn out? The ferris wheel on this card is glued down but it still adds such a fun element for anyone's birthday card.

Project Details & Inspiration

To make this card, we started with a card base in Summer Splash. Then we added another layer of Summer Splash Cardstock, embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, along with a layer of the Beach Boardwalk Designer Series Paper. We cut a Basic White frame to sit around the Designer Series Paper, which really helps it pop.

We created the Ferris wheel by die-cutting one from Basic Gray Cardstock and one from Basic White Cardstock. We punched a 2" circle to fit inside the gray Ferris wheel and cut the platform off the white Ferris wheel. Then we adhered the white Ferris wheel over the gray one and decorated the little “carts” with die cuts in Pool Party, Timid Tiger, Lemon Lolly, and Pretty in Pink Cardstock using the Boardwalk Fun Bundle.

The sentiment was stamped on Basic Gray Cardstock with VersaMark Ink and heat-embossed with White Embossing Powder before being die-cut with the ticket die from the Boardwalk Fun Bundle. We finished the card with a few rhinestones for a bit of sparkle.
