Consider Yourself Hugged: A Banner Sayings Card with Splash of Sparkles DSP

This one started with a scrap pile and a “wait… don’t throw that away yet” moment. Using the Banner Sayings Bundle and Splash of Sparkles Designer Series Paper, we leaned into bold panels, warm color contrast, and a sentiment that does exactly what it says on the card. No fancy tricks, no overthinking—just strong layers, a little texture, and enough shine to keep things interesting. This is one of those cards that feels good to make and even better to send, especially when someone could use a paper hug (get it? lol).
Project Details & Inspiration
This card was pretty easy to put together with a Thick Basic White card base with layers of Timid Tiger and a Basic White layer that we embossed with the Exposed Bricks 3D Embossing Folder. Our favorite part is the three panels of the Timid Tiger Cardstock and Splash of Sparkles Designer Series Paper. The sentiment from the Banner Sayings Stamp Set was embossed with white embossing powder and punched out using the coordinating Three Banners Punch. And that's it! Easy peasy.
