Easy Florals in Bloom Card with Petunia Pop and Night of Navy

This layout does a great job of letting the Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper take center stage. The wide panels give those bold florals plenty of room to breathe, which makes the whole card feel clean and well balanced.
Pairing the bright Petunia Pop flowers with Night of Navy cardstock adds just the right amount of contrast. It sharpens the design and gives the card a polished look, even though the layout itself stays pretty straightforward!
Project Details & Inspiration
To make this card, we started off with a Night of Navy card base then adhered Basic White to the inside of the card after stamping the "lovely day" sentiment with Night of Navy ink. For the front of the card, we used our favorite Exposed Brick Embossing Folder to emboss the Basic White Cardstock then layered a strip of Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper (DSP). We added another square of Night of Navy Cardstock with the same pattern of Floral in Bloom DSP.
We finished the card by stamping the sentiment on a scrap piece of Night of Navy Cardstock with VersaMark and embossed in white. Then we added a simple bow made with white twine.
