Not every card needs layers of die cuts and embellishments to make an impact. Sometimes, it’s the simplest designs that stop you in your tracks like this elegant “Thank You” card created with the Perfectly Pears Bundle and Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!
This design proves that your Designer Series Paper can (and should!) be the star of the show. With just a few well-chosen layers and textures, you can create a card that looks polished, professional, and totally handmade-with-love all in under 10 minutes.
Project Details & Inspiration
If you’ve ever stared at a piece of Designer Series Paper that felt too pretty to cut, this one’s for you. The Painterly Pears DSP is bursting with rich color and soft watercolor details that practically do the designing for you. We couldn’t resist highlighting this navy floral pattern, which beautifully balances the warm tones of Petal Pink and Night of Navy.
To add a little texture, we embossed the Petal Pink layer with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder because even simple cards deserve a little flair. The “Thank You” sentiment sits front and center, framed with two subtle gems for that perfect finishing touch.
