Geometric Triangle DSP Card with the Match Day Bundle

Fair warning, this card might make you do a double take! It looks like something tricky is going on, but we promise it's simpler than it appears. Two squares of A Wonderful Match Designer Series Paper, cut into triangles and reassembled just so, and suddenly you've got a card with a totally unique, geometric look. Sometimes the best designs are the ones that make people say "wait, how did you DO that?"
Project Details & Inspiration
This card starts off with a Thick Basic White card base with a layer of Shaded Spruce and Basic White Cardstock on the inside. For the front, we took two square pieces of A Wonderful Match Designer Series Paper and cut them down into smaller triangle pieces then strategically added them to a mat of Basic White Cardstock. Once we had all of the DSP pieces on, we adhered the Basic White mat to the card base.
To decorate, we stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and die cut it out with the circle die in the Match Day Bundle. We punched out a Shaded Spruce circle and Basic White circle with a 2" Circle Punch and adhered the sentiment circle and Shaded Spruce circle together. We stamped the flags on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock and colored them in with Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. The last thing to die cut was the gold trophy before we adhered everything together! We finished the card off by adding three Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers.
