Happy Winter Card | Soft Textures & Snowy Layers for a Peaceful Seasonal Design using the Snowflake Kisses Bundle

There’s something really soothing about winter cards that lean into texture, and this one is the perfect example. We mixed a snowy Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper panel with detailed die-cut snowflakes and an embossed background, and suddenly the whole card took on that quiet, bundled-up feel. It’s simple, it’s calm, and it works beautifully for anyone who loves a winter greeting that isn’t tied to a holiday.
We brought in the Snowflake Kisses Bundle for the sentiment and the snowflake accents, and paired it with soft layers of Crumb Cake, Basic White, and the Elegant Pie Snowflakes Designer Series Paper. Everything stacks together cleanly, and the different finishes, matte cardstock, raised embossing, and the smooth DSP, give the design a ton of depth without you needing to pile on extra steps.
A little Crumb Cake Baker's Twine box and a few Shades of Green Hexagon embellishments finish the card with just enough shine and movement to keep things lively without overwhelming that peaceful center panel.

Project Details & Inspiration
This card starts with a Lost Lagoon base to anchor all of the lighter layers. The Exposed Brick embossed Basic White panel adds instant structure, and the Crumb Cake mat softens the contrast so the whole card feels warm rather than stark.
The main panel uses one of the more abstract prints from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper, which makes it a perfect spotlight piece. Instead of stamping or adding extra décor, we let the pattern do the work and built the frame around it.
The Snowflake Kisses Dies cut clean, crisp snowflakes that tuck neatly behind the main layer. They add detail and softness without cluttering the layout. The sentiment sits on a narrow stitched label, and the twine bow gives it a sweet, handmade touch.
This is the kind of winter card you can make in batches; once the cutting is done, the assembly is super quick.
