Project Details & Inspiration

We started this Merry Christmas card with a Crumb Cake Cardstock base, scored and creased with a bone folder before we stamped the Crumb Cake background pattern across the front in a repeating stitched cross design. For the quilted stripes, we die-cut Secret Sea, Cherry Cobbler, and Peaceful Pine Cardstock with the coordinating die from the Stitched Stocking Dies, layered each strip over Basic White Cardstock, then swapped the little diamond cutouts between colors before adhering all three strips across the card front.
The sentiment was stamped in Secret Sea ink on Basic White Cardstock and die cut, then tucked onto a pointed banner cut from A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper and trimmed with Real Red Stitched Ribbon at an angle. We finished it off with a sweet die-cut holly and berries in Peaceful Pine and Cherry Cobbler tucked right beside the sentiment for that final festive touch!
