The sentiment alone (“It’s beginning to taste like Christmas”) sets the stage for pure holiday joy. We went for a softer color palette this time, think frosted sugar cookie vibes with Pool Party, Pretty in Pink, and Crumb Cake. It’s a refreshing twist on traditional red and green but still keeps that cozy Christmas warmth we all crave this time of year.
Project Details & Inspiration
We started with a Pool Party card base, layered it with a white embossed panel, and topped it off with a sweet framed focal point. The embossed background adds just enough texture (because let’s be real, flat cards are like cookies without frosting, why even bother?).
The fun really begins with the adorable little elements: the rolling pin, oven mitt, icing bag, and tiny gingerbread man. Each one is die-cut and layered with care, creating a playful scene that makes you want to grab your apron and start baking. The pop of red twine tied into a cheerful bow wraps it all up perfectly, like the baker’s twine on a box of homemade treats!
And can we talk about that sentiment for a sec? Stamped in Real Red, it absolutely steals the show. It’s bold, festive, and just the right amount of cheeky.
