Layered Diamond Accent Card with Creative Haven | “You Deserve All the Good Things”

This card uses a simple diamond-layer layout that gives the center panel a nice focal point without adding extra steps. The Creative Haven sentiment sits comfortably with the bath-and-body illustrations from the Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper, and the mix of warm browns, soft whites, and clean shapes keeps everything neat and easy to look at. It has a calm, steady feel—nothing dramatic or busy—just a solid, thoughtful design.

Project Details & Inspiration

We started things off with a warm Pecan Pie card base. It immediately adds richness and gives all the lighter layers a beautiful contrast. Once the embossed white layer went on top, the background transformed into something soft and elegant, almost like linen or handmade paper.

The focal point is where this card really shines. Two different square layers — one straight, one turned into a diamond — stack together in this unexpected little arrangement that feels playful without going overboard. The Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper tucked inside those layers shows off those sweet lotion bottles, scrubs, and sprays that practically beg to be fussy cut.

And of course, we couldn’t resist popping a few of the bottles up with dimensionals (thanks to Nancy lol) to create a cute, clustered arrangement. The Early Espresso Baker’s Twine bow adds a natural, earthy texture that ties the whole theme together. It hangs off the edge just enough to soften the angles of the diamond layers.

Down at the bottom, the sentiment “You deserve all the good things” adds exactly the right finishing touch. Stamped in warm brown ink, it blends seamlessly with the bow and the card base. A few Earthy Matte Dots scatter across the bottom corner to balance everything out and add a bit of movement.

The end result feels warm, thoughtful, and easy on the eyes, the kind of card that makes someone smile before they even read what’s inside.
