Layered Front Flap "Thinking of You" Sunflower Card with the Radiant Sunflowers Bundle

Lift the front and there's another layer waiting underneath! A strip trimmed off the Old Olive card base becomes its own flap, hinged only on the left so the card still opens. Two mirrored panels of Sunflower Fields paper, a Blends-colored bloom, and a gingham bow make it look fancy, but it comes together quickly!

Project Details & Inspiration

Layered Front Flap "Thinking of You" Sunflower Card with the Radiant Sunflowers Bundle

The card base is Old Olive Cardstock. After folding it, trim a strip off the long side of the front and set that piece aside for the focal flap. Inside, a Basic White panel is layered on Mossy Meadow Cardstock. Two pieces of Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper are matted on Mossy Meadow; watch the direction of the sunflowers so the pattern faces the right way on each one.

One layered panel goes on the narrow left flap of the card base. The other goes on the Old Olive strip you set aside, and that piece is glued along its left edge only so the card still opens and closes. The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White and die cut with the Radiant Sunflowers Dies. The single flower is stamped in Early Espresso, colored with Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends, dried, die cut, and popped up next to the sentiment on Dimensionals. A Mossy Meadow & Very Vanilla Gingham Ribbon bow and three Radiant Gems finish it.
