Let's Go Fishing Fun Fold Father's Day Card

Father's Day is coming up this weekend and if you're wanting to impress (or confuse, which we do with Nancy's dad lol) a father figure, you'll want to try out this fun fold card using the Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper and the Gone Fishing Stamp Set. We normally give these fun fold cards to Nancy's dad because his reaction is always hilarious. He always stares at it trying to figure out how it opens. We'll have to record his reaction sometime to share with you all! :)

Let's Go Fishing Gone Fishing Fun Fold Father's Day Card

For the card, we used Night of Navy Cardstock for the card base. We followed the scorelines below to create the fun zig zag fold for the card. We then adhered the Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper to the front and inside of the card. The sentiment from the Gone Fishing Stamp Set was stamped in Night of Navy ink on a piece of Basic White Cardstock. This was then adhered to a piece of Misty Moonlight Cardstock and adhered to the inside of the card. For the belly band, we folded a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock around the folded card and adhered it together. The belly band was then decorated with a sentiment from the Gone Fishing Stamp Set and die cut out using the coordinating Gone Fishing Die Cuts (inside of the tackle box). The fish were then fussy cut or die cut out from the designer series paper using the coordinating dies as well. All of the fish were tied together using a 1/16" punch and the silver thread from the Simply Elegant Trim.
