Lovely Arrangements Gift Card Holder Fun Fold Card

We’re just going to say it: cards that do more immediately earn bonus points in our book. This one started as a simple floral idea and quickly turned into a “wait… that opens HOW?” kind of project (those are our favorite kinds, obviously.)
This fun fold card was made using the Lovely Arrangements Bundle and Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper. It’s pretty and yes it secretly holds a gift card. Which means it’s perfect for birthdays, thank-yous, graduations, or anytime you want your card to feel a little extra without going full production mode.
Project Details & Inspiration
The design star here is that layered front panel paired with the hidden gift card pocket inside. From the outside, it looks like a polished floral card with clean lines and soft color contrast. Once opened, the surprise reveal makes it instantly memorable.
We built the card base using Secret Sea, which grounds the softer tones and gives everything a crisp frame. The Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper does a lot of visual work here bringing in Cloud Cover and leafy green tones that feel calm, fresh, and timeless.
On the front, we layered a Basic White panel matted with Secret Sea to anchor the focal point. The floral image from the Lovely Arrangements Bundle is stamped, die cut, and layered slightly off-center to keep the design relaxed and natural. Tucking in the stamped leaves adds movement, while the soft Cloud Cover Ribbon tie pulls everything together visually without competing for attention (Kayla was very adamant about the ribbon placement here and she was right).
Practical tip: when you’re working with a fun fold that opens in an unusual way, keep the front sentiment panel simple. A clean greeting like “Hello Friend” lets the fold and the florals shine, and it prevents the card from feeling crowded once everything is opened.
