One tag tucked into a hidden pocket and one very fashionable cat in a witch hat. That's the kind of fun we love building into a fun-fold card! Pull the black strip up and there's a whole second scene waiting, complete with a spooky spiderweb and a second cat who clearly did not sign up for costume duty lol. It's a great pick for the trick-or-treater on your list who appreciates a card that does more than just sit flat on the counter.

Project Details & Inspiration

We started with Basic Black Cardstock folded into our card base, trimming off a strip to reuse later and sealing just the sides to form a hidden pocket for a tag. The front was covered in Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper, tucking the smaller piece along the top before layering that reserved black strip across the middle.
For the focal point, we die cut a scalloped frame from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock with the Forever Florals Dies, topped it with a Very Vanilla piece stamped with bats in Smokey Slate ink, and added our Oh My Fright cat in his witch hat alongside the "Trick or Treat" sentiment, split into three words and popped up with Dimensionals. A Very Vanilla tag stamped with a spiderweb and a second cat, colored with our Smokey Slate and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends, slides right into the pocket and ties off with Black Iridescent Ribbon. We finished it off with two Adhesive-Backed Bats — one on the focal frame and one peeking out from behind the tag!
