One little scarecrow, one tiny flag, and a whole lot of fall charm — that's really all this card needed. We've been having so much fun playing with the new 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper and couldn't resist pairing it with the sweetest scarecrow stamp set for a card that just says hay there to autumn. This one's perfect for tucking into a care package or leaving on a friend's porch step this fall.

Project Details & Inspiration

We started with an Early Espresso Cardstock card base and lined the inside with Basic White Cardstock before layering Barely Blush Cardstock and another piece of Basic White Cardstock onto the front. A mat of 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper adhered to Early Espresso Cardstock was tucked along the right side to bring in a little pattern.
For our focal point, we ran Basic White Cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder and die cut it into an oval using the Framed Violets Dies. The scarecrow and his little flag were stamped in Early Espresso ink, colored with Stampin' Blends in Pecan Pie, Night of Navy, SU900, Golden Glow, and Barely Blush, cut out with the Fun for Fall Dies, and popped onto the oval with Stampin' Dimensionals before the whole panel was added to the card front the same way. To finish, we tied on a little jute bow and scattered three 2026-2028 In Color Dots across the design.
