Scarecrow & Crows: Our Favorite Fall Card Design Yet with the Fun for Fall Bundle

Fall is sneaking up on us and this gingham gatefold might just be our favorite way to welcome it. There's something about a scarecrow with rosy cheeks and a trio of goofy crows that makes "Happy Fall Y'all" feel extra cheerful. It's the kind of card that works for a neighbor, a teacher, or anyone who could use a little seasonal sunshine in their mailbox. Project Details & Inspiration

We started this one with a Hydrangea Hue Cardstock base folded into a gatefold, then covered the front with strips of Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper, leaving a peek of blue showing around each edge. For the focal point, we ran Basic White Cardstock and Hydrangea Hue Cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with two sizes of the Everyday Arches Die and layered them together for a soft frame.

We stamped our scarecrow, crows, flag, and hay bales in Basic Black Hybrid Ink, colored them in with Stampin' Blends, and die cut each one with the Fun for Fall Dies before arranging them onto the arch. The panel was adhered so it swings open with the card, and we finished it off with a few In Color Dots tucked around the crows for a little extra sparkle, then stamped our "So Thankful For You" sentiment inside in Basic Black Hybrid Ink.
