Some cards just feel like a hug and this one is exactly that. With its soft blues and layered florals from the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper, it's the kind of card that says "I'm thinking of you" before you even read the sentiment. The Scalloped Wishes Bundle brings it all together with that perfect finishing touch. Whether you're sending a little encouragement, letting someone know they're not alone, or just showing up for a friend who needs it, this card does the talking for you.
Project Details & Inspiration
To make this card, we started off with a Cloud Cover card base and adhere on a layer of Secret Sea Cardstock and Basic White Cardstock. We created two vertical and two horizontal strips of Secret Sea Cardstock that were layered with the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper. We weaved the four strips of paper together before adhering to the Basic White Cardstock.
For the sentiment, we stamped the cattails in the blank open space on the card by doing second generation stamping with Crumb Cake ink. Then we stamped the sentiment from the Scalloped Wishes Stamp Set with Secret Sea ink. To finish things off, we added three Hues of Blue Flowers around the sentiment.
