There’s something timeless about a handmade thank-you card, especially one that feels as fresh and polished as this design. We used the Pop-Up Petals Bundle from Stampin’ Up! to create this clean and modern layout that still carries all the warmth of a handmade touch.
Soft embossed texture, paired with patterned paper and layered squares, gives this card subtle depth without overcomplicating the design. The mix of floral patterns and solid prints from the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper ties everything together beautifully.
The sentiment, “Thanks for being there,” makes it the perfect card for just about any occasion, whether it’s a note for a close friend, a coworker, or that person who always comes through when you need them most.
Project Details & Inspiration
The background of this card features an embossed Basic White panel that adds texture and quiet elegance. To bring movement and contrast, we layered alternating patterned and solid squares on a diagonal. The Pretty Peacock cardstock and coordinating floral paper add a balanced mix of color and pattern that draws your eye right to the center.
The stitched sentiment label, die-cut from Petal Pink, softens the overall design while still making the words stand out. Add a few Charming Shimmer Faceted Gems for a little sparkle, and you’ve got a card that feels effortlessly refined.
