We pulled out the Perfectly Pears Bundle from Stampin’ Up! and paired it (see what we did there?) with the Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper to create this fresh, fruity friendship card. The soft peach tones mixed with the pop of pear green give total late-summer-into-fall vibes: cheerful, warm, and just a little sassy.
Whether you’re sending this to a friend you haven’t seen in ages or just want to brighten someone’s day, this handmade card does the job perfectly. It’s bright, layered, and gives off that “made with love” energy that no store-bought card could ever compete with.
Project Details & Inspiration
We’re obsessed with how this layout lets the Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper shine (because let’s be honest, sometimes we hoard it instead of using it). The combination of soft Petal Pink, bold Calypso Coral, and those painterly florals just make everything pop.
And can we talk about that pear? The stamped image looks almost watercolor-painted thanks to the detailed stamp design. Add a couple of die-cut leaves and a sweet “FRIEND” sentiment, and you’ve got a project that’s simple yet stunning.
Pro tip: Try stamping your pear in Darling Duckling and then lightly sponging on a touch of Old Olive for a more dimensional look!
