When it comes to holiday crafting, we’re all about the projects that bring that instant cozy Christmas feeling—the kind that pairs perfectly with hot cocoa, fuzzy socks, and maybe a Hallmark movie running in the background.
We used the Homemade Treats Bundle to whip up this festive little number, and let’s just say… we’re obsessed. Between the adorable gingerbread men, the candy cane details, and that cute oven mitt (how can something that tiny be so stinkin’ cute?!), it’s the perfect mix of classic Christmas charm and handmade sweetness.
Project Details & Inspiration
The background sets the scene with a crisp Real Red cardstock base and a subtly textured embossed white panel, a total must for adding that “store-bought-but-better” look. Then we layered on some patterned paper that brings in those cozy kitchen vibes, think mistletoe, peppermint candies, and plaid tablecloths. Seriously, it’s giving holiday bake-off energy.
And don’t even get us started on that bow. A bold, shiny red ribbon tied front and center adds just the right amount of festive flair (because it’s not really Christmas without a bow or two, right?).
The sentiment, “‘Tis the Season,” ties it all together in bright red ink, simple, cheerful, and straight to the point. We popped it up with a little dimension to make it stand out, because that’s what the holidays are all about: a little extra sparkle, a little extra joy, and a whole lot of handmade love.
