Three-Panel Fold Card with a Hidden Embossed Panel and Country Cottage Designer Series Paper

Closed, it looks like a simple Peaceful Pine card with a scalloped sentiment and a pretty patterned front. Then you open it! The front swings away to reveal a Crumb Cake panel embossed with the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder tucked into the middle, plus a writing panel on the right edged with a strip of Country Cottage Designer Series Paper. Even with the card shut, a slim strip of DSP peeks out beside the front panel, a little hint that there's more going on inside!

Project Details & Inspiration

The card base is Peaceful Pine Cardstock scored on two lines. Fold along both score lines, then glue a smaller Peaceful Pine piece to the narrow card base strip so it extends into a full front panel, lining up the top and bottom edges. Inside, a Basic White panel goes on the right with a narrow strip of Country Cottage Designer Series Paper beside it, and the middle panel gets Crumb Cake Cardstock run through the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder, centered for an even Peaceful Pine border.
Close the card and cover the front panel with the largest piece of DSP, then add the last DSP strip to the outside of the middle panel along the left side so it peeks out beside the front. The sentiment is stamped on Basic White in Crumb Cake ink, die cut with a scalloped die, and popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. Peaceful Pine leaves cut with the Cottage Kindness Dies tuck behind the left side, a baker's twine bow covers the stems, and three 2026–2028 In Color Dots balance the front.
