Winged Pop-up Diamond Card Featuring the Springtime Scenes Bundle

Project Details & Inspiration

For this Winged Pop-Up Diamond Card (special thanks to Laura Stranks for the inspo), we started this stunner on a Gorgeous Grape card base and layered on a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock, then topped it with Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper to let all those gorgeous purple florals take center stage.

The diamond lattice design came together by cutting several squares from both Gorgeous Grape Cardstock and Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper at an angle, layering them with Crumb Cake peeking out as a mat on each one, and arranging them in that eye-catching diagonal pattern across the front.

For the focal point, we stamped our sentiment from the Springtime Scenes Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock using Pretty Peacock ink, then used the Springtime Scenes Dies to cut out that pretty label shape; we also die-cut two delicate leaf sprigs from Pretty Peacock Cardstock and Crumb Cake to tuck in alongside it for a little extra dimension.

We finished the whole thing off by popping the sentiment label up in the center and scattering a few Purple Fine Shimmer Gems across the diamond panels for just the right amount of sparkle.
