Winnie the Pooh Faux Step Card with Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper

Project Details & Inspiration
Our faux step card started with a Hydrangea Hue card base, with a slightly smaller piece of Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper layered on top to show off those adorable tonal characters peeking through. We added a strip of Hydrangea Hue Cardstock across the bottom step and layered a piece of Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper over it to carry the pattern through.
The focal point was created by stamping the Winnie the Pooh balloon image from the Sweet Words & Labels Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink onto Basic White Cardstock, coloring it with Stampin' Blends, then die cutting the decorative stitched oval from the Sweet Words & Labels Dies — we also cut the ornate oval frame from Very Vanilla Cardstock and layered it behind to give that pretty golden border effect. A little loop of Baker's Twine was tucked in at the top of the string to look like a bow before we popped the whole oval up on Dimensionals.
For the sentiment banner on the step, we stamped "Oh, bother" in Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and die cut it with the label die from the Sweet Words & Labels Dies, then finished the card off by adding a few of the 2026-28 In Color Butterflies scattered across the step for a sweet finishing touch.
