You Brighten My Day — Springtime Scenes Bundle & Perennial Lavender DSP Card

Project Details & Inspiration
We started this card on a Pretty Peacock card base and layered a piece of Basic White Cardstock on top to create a clean mat. From there, we cut two panels of Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper — one with the leafy botanical print and one with the gorgeous lavender and butterfly print — and placed them side by side on the white mat, with a thin strip of the watercolor floral print running along the bottom to pull it all together.
For the focal point, we stamped a sentiment from the Springtime Scenes Stamp Set onto a piece of Pretty Peacock Cardstock using VersaMark ink and heat embossed it in Basics Wow! White Embossing Powder, then die-cut it into a circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies and popped it up on Dimensionals right where the two DSP panels meet. We tied a little bow with the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack and tucked it behind the circle for that extra charming touch, then finished everything off by scattering a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels across the designer paper to add just the right amount of sparkle.
