There’s something ridiculously comforting about a good stack of books, a warm drink, and a soft color palette… so naturally, this card came together feeling like a big supportive hug in paper form. We pulled out the Creative Haven Bundle again because the sentiments are perfect for anyone who needs a little “you’ve got this” boost—whether they’re starting something new, pushing through a tough week, or just juggling life like the rockstar they are.
Paired with the Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper, this whole card gives off gentle, cozy energy without trying too hard. It’s simple, sweet, and the kind of project you can make in ten minutes when someone you love needs a little encouragement right now.
Project Details & Inspiration
We used a Early Espresso card base to instantly ground all the lighter tones in the design. It adds warmth and sets the stage for those adorable book illustrations in the Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper. The Petal Pink layer behind the paper brightens things up and keeps the whole card looking fresh instead of heavy.
Across the center, a strip of coordinating Petal Pink grid-patterned DSP adds structure and brings in a subtle modern touch, almost like a little desk or tabletop running behind the scene. A few Earthly Matte Dots give the strip just enough personality to keep your eye moving across the card.
The sentiment tag is the star here, “You’ve Got This” stamped in Early Espresso ink, framed with leafy details that make it feel hand-drawn and heartfelt. The rounded top of the tag softens all the straight lines in the layout, pulling everything together without adding any bulk or fuss.
Inside, we kept it clean with a Basic White panel and a thin strip of matching DSP at the bottom. Just a simple finishing touch that keeps the calm, cozy feel going when the card is opened.
