A Million Reasons to Love Layering Leaves
Today we are celebrating our wonderful friend, Rachel Tessman, as she celebrate her! Back in June 2021, Rachel reached her One Million Dollar Career Sales Milestone and was the 50th demonstrator to reach this incredible milestone (which is such an amazing accomplishments as there are over 50,000 demonstrators around the world).
We met Rachel through Nancy's mom, Char. Char started taking card classes with Rachel in her house then brought Nancy along to some classes. After a couple of years, going to Rachel's it became a family affair because Char, Nancy, and Kayla would attend her classes to make tons of cute cards in her basement. Rachel has always had a lovely personality and you can always tell that she cares about what you have to say whether online or in person. We're so thankful to have such a wonderful leader and friend in our lives!
To celebrate Rachel, we are creating cards with her "million dollar stamp set" that she designed. If you know Rachel, you know how much she loves leaves! So it's very fitting that she chose to design a stamp set that paired perfectly with the Bough Punch.
To make this card, we used Lost Lagoon Cardstock for the card base. Then we ran a piece of Lost Lagoon Cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder; this was added to the card base using dimensionals (Nancy's favorite). Then we adhered the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper to the embossed piece using even more dimensionals. For the sentiment in the Layering Leaves Stamp Set, we stamped it on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock in Lost Lagoon ink before die cutting it out using the Something Fancy Dies. Before adding this to the front of the card, we added some layers of Lost Lagoon, Vellum, and Calypso Coral Cardstock using the Bough Punch. Finally, we tied a bow using the Natural Wavy Trim (we took a 6 inch piece a pulled it apart before tying) along with some Loose Frosted Dots!
Below you will find more measurements and supplies below but make sure to follow along on our blog hop to see more projects to celebrate Rachel's great achievement!
