Boughs of Holly Christmas Card MMM
This time of year comes with a lot of gift giving. A lot of those gifts end up being gift cards! It's not really fun to give cards in a typical, boring card; make a gift card holder instead! This week we made a gift card holder with some Christmas themed paper called Boughs of Holly.
For the card, we started off with a Real Red Cardstock base and scored on the lines mentioned in the measurements below. We then adhered the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper to the card base. On a piece of Basic White Cardstock, we stamped our "Merry Christmas" in Real Red ink and adhered to the inside of the card. We stamped the deer on a scrap piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock using Early Espresso ink, punched it out, and adhered it next to the sentiment.
For the bottom piece that holds the gift card, you'll want to make sure to only glue the left and right sides in order to make a pouch.
Finally, for the belly band that holds the card shut, we used Shaded Spruce Cardstock and wrapped it around the card base. The sentiment on the front was stamped using Shaded Spruce ink on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock and cut out using the Layering Circle Dies. We did the same with a scrap piece of Real Red Cardstock and adhered everything to the belly band.
