Easy Gift Bag

Updated: Nov 8, 2019

We love the nautical theme of the Sailing Home Bundle in Stampin' Up!'s 2019-2020 annual catalog. What is really special is July 2019's Paper Pumpkin kit has matching product to go this 3 different suites in the annual catalog. How awesome is that? Stampin' Up! is always thinking outside the box and coming up creative way to use new product while keeping with the coordinating colors and themes. No where else can you find that type of innovative thinking while keeping all the colors the same, one of the many things we love about Stampin' Up!

This month we are participating in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Hop and we'd appreciate you taking a peek at the blog hop and casting your vote. The top 10 winners will participate in another hop later this month which helps bring more shared creative ideas right to you! All you have to do is click the blue circle to begin voting.

The image below, shows you the paper that was used for this creation. You will need to open the envelope from the July 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit to get the "map" paper and the white edges for the greeting as well as the Designer Series Paper, from Stampin' Up's 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, called Come Sail Away, page 167.

We found fish candy which worked perfect for our project, but any favorite candy of yours will fit perfectly in this size gift bag. To begin, you will need a 6"x 12"of DSP, the inside of envelope with the envelope design above, the "green" circle from the die's provided in the kit, the wheel from the kit, Sparkle Glimmer card stock, Tailored Tag punch and the Daisy punch. We used part of the envelope to stamp the greeting and punched it out with the Tailored Tag punch. You will also need the twine, provided in the kit, and Mini Library Clips to close the top.

Take your 6"x 12" DSP, with the 12" side at the top, score at 4", 5-3/4", 9-3/4"and 11-1/2". For the 6" side, score at 1-3/4". Take your scissor and cut on the 12' side up to the 1-3/4" score line. (See image below). Punch out one daisy in the green circle from the kit and one daisy from the Sparkle Glimmer Paper. We then used the Starburst punch on the "map" paper to layer on top of the two "daisies".

Next all you need to do is use your Tear and Tape to assemble the box and use dimensionals to layer your tag on the front.

We hope you love this simple little bag, it is quick to make and provides so many options for an easy gift. Thanks for stopping by!
