Gingerbread & Peppermint Tricky Spin Card
You are not going to believe how amazing this card is! We got the inspiration from Srushti Patil's video on YouTube and then transformed the measurements from metric to imperial. Kayla saw the card and immediately knew that she had to make it! We featured the Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite from the upcoming July-December 2021 Mini Catalog which will be ready for purchase on August 3. To create this card, we started by applying Shimmer Embossing Paste to the two, scored 3-3/4"x 6-1/2" Real Red Cardstock pieces under the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks. While the embossing paste is drying, we stamped the four pieces of Basic White Cardstock using the Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set, Pear Pizzazz Ink, and Real Red Ink. Before adhering the Basic White pieces to the embossed Real Red Cardstock pieces, we added small pieces of the Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon to the bottom and top of the embossed Real Red Cardstock pieces. After the ribbonwas attached,
we added the stamped Basic White Cardstock and two pieces of Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP on using Stampin' Seal. Next, we punched a small hole in the middle of the DSP side of the Real Red Cardstock pieces. Then we aligned these two finished Real Red Cardstock pieces on the 4-3/4"x 12" and punched holes on the bottom and middle panel (see video for reference). We pinned the 3-3/4"x 6-1/2" Real Red Cardstock pieces to the 4-3/4"x 12" Real Red Cardstock using two of the Round & Square Brads. We then glued the card shut using Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue (follow video instructions). Once everything is glued together, we then decorated the front of the card using Pear Pizzazz Cardstock, Basic White Cardstock, die cut and fussy cut pieces of the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP. We finished things off with the Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon and Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
