The "Impossible" Card

*Cue scary music* Dun, dun, dun!

Impossible card? We think not!


We finally got around to trying the impossible card that so many have done. We love the color of purple with the beautiful Tea Room DSP it really gives this card a pow! What is so fun about this special card, it still fits in a regular envelope but when they pull it out it pops up, we absolutely love it! Directions were obtained from Dawn Griffith.


Measurements:

Whisper White Card Stock

  • 5-1/2"x 4-1/4"

  • One 1-7/8" x 3-1/4"

Gorgeous Grape Card Stock

  • Cut (2) at 2-5/8" x 4-1/8".

  • One 2" x 3-3/8"

  • 3/4" x 5-1/2" for the stabilizer strip in front.

Tea Room DSP

  • Cut (2) at 2-1/2" x 4".

Directions:

  1. Please follow photo's below and GIF. You just need to put your layers of cut card stock together and watch the GIF for the special flip for the "impossible" part.

With the 5-1/2"side at top, at the 2-3/4"cut down to the score line you just scored. Flip over, top over end, and at the 1"and 4-1/2"marks cut down to the score line.

With the 2-5/8" at the top score at 7/8" then turn so 4-1/8"side is at the top then score at 2". Remove/cut out the 2-1/8" square so you have an "L" shape.

With the 2-1/2" at the top score at 3/4" then turn so 4" side is at the top and score at 1-7/8. Remove/cut out the larger square.

Start assembling your layers

Here's the "impossible" part! While holding the card, flip one of the sides and finish layering your card stock.

On the back side you have room to put your greeting and signature

Place the stabalizing strip on front and you are done!
