Hues of Happiness Bay Window Fun Fold
This is Fun Fold is featuring the new Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. Beautiful spectrum of the rainbow is my favorite and this card turned out stunning using the Bay Window fold and is perfect for someone to set out to display. This card was inspired by Janice Walsh in our most recent card swap, she made a lovely version.
There are several different ways to make this card but we found Connie Steward on Youtube for these measurements. We thought it was easiest to cut them in the order from left to right so here we go. Take your Basic Black and score on the long side at 3/8", 1-7/8", 3-5/8", 5-1/8" and 5-1/2". Give all those score lines a good crease both ways. Next we are taking our 4"x 6" Designer Series Paper and will cut on the long side (6"side at top of score board) make sure to lay your cut DSP down in the order that you cut. We will first cut at 1/4", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 1-1/4", 1/4"you will be left with a 2" strip. Now take those cuts and glue them onto the Basic Black cardstock onto the front in the order that you fold them. Next take your 3-1/4"x 4" Basic White and adhere to the left side of the inside of your card. Take the 2" DSP and cut this half creating 2-1" pieces. Take and adhere one 1' piece next to the Basic White piece, then take the other piece and place dimensionals on it and adhere it next to the 1" piece you just laid down. Stamp your greeting on Basic White and die cut out and adhere with dimensionals to front of card. Last add your Glossy Dots and tuck the right side 3/8" piece under the raised 1" piece on the "inside" of the card so it will stay in place and create the look of a Bay Window.
