Beautiful Bliss

We are once again Thrilled to be part of Kylie's blog hop! Today we have a beautiful congratulations card for a friend of Kayla's wedding. When we started to design this card it went in a totally different direction than what we initially were thinking. This is what we love about the creative process, no way is the wrong way! We love to see the end product and couldn't be more happy with this beauty! Happy Stamping~ Nancy and Kayla

Directions:

  1. Take a 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Blackberry Bliss cardstock and score at 4-1/4".

  2. On water color paper, cut 5" x 3-3/4", water color using your Blackberry Bliss and Bermuda Bay inks, set aside to dry.

  3. On a scrap Whisper White cardstock, use a dauber to spread Blackberry Bliss and Bermuda Bay ink in random places.

  4. Using your Flourish Thinlit dies and big shot, die cut your images out where you just spread your ink and attach to your water color paper.

  5. Stamp your congratulations, from Best Birds, on Whisper White and die cut out using the Stitched Labels Framelits.

  6. Take a piece of Rich Razzleberry ribbon and thread it through the piece you just die cut out of the congratulations and attach with dimensionals to the water color paper.

  7. Attach this to the front of the Blackberry Bliss cardstock and place the clear rhinestones on the flower.

  8. For the inside, use extra die cut pieces from the Flourish thinlits and stamp your saying from Stitched all Around in Blackberry Bliss ink.

  9. Last, use your clear Wink of Stella to add additional sparkle to the flower.

We hope you enjoyed our card! Kayla is planning on using it as a wedding card for her coworker this weekend. Please be sure to follow along by click on the next blog listed below to see some more creative ideas for Congratulation card ideas.
