Hippest Hippos & Dies

My mom use to love Hippo's and when I saw this set, I knew it was going to be the first Sale-A-Bration items I was going to order. Look how adorable they are! We had fun creating this cute card at our Facebook/Youtube live. We used many new items from the Stampin' Up! 2022-2023 Annual catalog and the Sale-A-Bration catalog along with a fun technique using Glitter Embossing Paste.

Start with your Tahitian Tide card base, score on the long side at 4-1/4". Take a Palette Knife and place some Shimmery White Embossing paste on the Silicone Craft Mat. Next add some Tahitian Tide ink refill to this and mix well.

Using a scrap sheet, place one of the 4"x 5-1/4" Basic White Cardstock and using a small bit of adhesive, adhere this to the scrap sheet. Take your decorative mat, place over the Basic White and secure this down so it doesn't move. Take your mixed Shimmery White Paste and spread over the top (see video). Removed the mask and wash tools right away and set cardstock to the side. Take your 3"x 4"Basic White and stamp your Hippo using Memento Black and your greeting in Sweet Sorbet (see video).

Color your Hippo with the blends and die cut all your pieces for the front using the cardstock listed below.

Take your 3"x 3" Basic White and punch out the decorative circle. Using the Into the Clouds embossing folder, run this piece and the rectangle piece you die cut above, through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

Using your adhesives, assemble the cards as shown in the video and don't forget the bling!
