A few weekends ago we were at the lake and made this fun and simple card. We used the gorgeous Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series paper on the right side of card. This paper is just stunning in person and photos don't do it justice; it's hand painted, double sided and heavy weight, more close to the thickness of the kraft card stock. Hope you like this card as much as I do!
5-1/2" x 1-1/2" Share what you love DSP
8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Mango Melody cardstock scored at 4-1/4" and folded in half
Layering Circles Framelits
Early Espresso Ink and cardstock
Pumpkin Pie Ink
Sahara Sand Ink
Love What You Do stamp set
Crumb cake classic weave ribbon
Adhere your Share what you love DSP to the folded/scored Mango Melody cardstock.
Stamp in Sahara Sand ink the outline to the flowers on a piece of Vanilla cardstock.
Grab the middle piece to the flower and ink it up with Pumpkin Pie ink. Inking only once, stamp right in the middle of your flower image, then move stamp over a bit, stamp again and then last move to the other side of the image to stamp one last time to cover the flower.
Stamp your greeting in Early Espresso Ink.
Take your Layering Circles Framelits and find the circle that fits over your stamped image and use your big shot to cut.
Take your Early Espresso cardstock and the scalloped edge circle framelit that is one step bigger than your circle you just cut, and use the big shot to die cut.
Layer your Vanilla stamped image on top of the scalloped circle.
Add dimensionals to the back of this and adhere to the card front.
Take about 6 inches of the Crumb Cake ribbon and adhere bow with a glue dot.
This is such a pretty card and so very simple. I'm not one to use this color combination very often but I loved the DSP and wanted to step out of my comfort zone. I'm a Brights gal all the way! Hope you enjoyed this card ~Nancy
