On The Horizon Fun Fold
This Designer Series Paper is so stunning! I was inspired by a card by Iced Images. She created her card to 5 inches by 5 inches but I wanted one that measures 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" to fit in our envelopes. With a few tweaks here and there and adding a stand so it could be displayed on a desk or mantle this is what I came up with. This is such a fun card and works well with any type of DSP. Hope you like it!
Take one 4-1/4"x 5-1/2" Night of Navy and adhere the 4"x 5-1/4" New Horizons DSP to the Night of Navy. Adhere your 2-3/4"x 4" Basic White and adhere to the left back side of this base. Take the second 4-1/4"x 5-1/2" Night of Navy piece and use the #2 and #6 size from the Stitched Rectangle dies to create a window. (See video below for info). Take the 3-3/4"x 5" New Horizons DSP and use the #3 and #5 rectangle die to create a window. Take this piece and adhere to the Night of Navy window you created. Take the 3"x 4" Night of Navy cardstock and die cut 2 grass. Take those piece and glue to the back side of the window. Take your Cinnamon Cider cardstock and die cut the two fences and adhere to the front of the window. Next we will take both the 2-1/2"x 3-1/4" Night of Navy piece and score both on the 2-1/2" side at 1/2", 1", 1-1/2", 2". Take one piece and glue the ends together and the same with the second one to make pillars. Adhere this to the back side of the window on the left and right sides. Next use tear tape and adhere to the base of the card, right on top of the DSP. Finally, we'll take the 2"x 7-1/4" Night of Navy piece and score along the 7-1/4" side at 1/2", 1-1/2", 2-1/2", 6-3/4". Adhere to back of card base on the right side to create the stand. (see video) Last place your Pebble Enamel Shapes on the front and you are done.
