Sunny Splash
It is still summer here in Minnesota and even though the mini catalog is out with all the cute new fall/winter stamp sets we just can't break away from summer fun cards. Today we created a simple and fun card using an embossing folder, some fussy cutting and a blending brush. I love how this turned out, I ended up adding Basic Black cardstock to make it really pop off the card front!
First, start out with the 3-3/4"x 5" white cardstock and embossed it with the Into the Clouds embossing folder. Take one of your blending brushes and using the Sweet Sorbet ink pad, gently swirl the brush over the top of the embossed piece. Next stamp all your images onto one of the 4"x 5-1/4" white pieces, including the sentiment. Fussy cut all the images and sentiment out like shown in the picture. Next, cut your ribbon and attached to the embossed piece and using dimensionals adhere the swim suits and sentiment. Add dimensionals to the back of the embossed piece and adhere to one of the 4"x 5-1/4" pieces. Using your favorite adhesive, add these two pieces to the front of the basic black card front. Take and adhere your last 4"x 5-1/4" basic white piece to the inside of your card. Lastly, add your Matte Black Dots to the front.
