Warm Welcome Bundle
We are excited that World Card Making Day is under a week away. One thing Stampin' Up! is offering is a free online event for anyone that wants to join in on the fun. They are featuring 3 bundles this year. (see image below) We wanted to give you a preview of the Warm Welcome bundle and it is such a fun and versatile set. Immediately when I was this set, I knew I had to make a shaker card. Hope you enjoy it~
First, we started out by stamping our images on the respective cardstock pieces. We stamped the one cat on Crumb Cake Cardstock and two cat's on the Very Vanilla and die cut them out. We took 3-3/4"x 5"Very Vanilla piece and embossed it with the Brick & Motar Embossing folder. Next, we inked up one of the Blending Brushes with Early Espresso ink and gently rubbed over the top of the bricks to give it a realistic look. We then stamped the door and embossed the with the Timber Embossing folder and die cut this out.
We then used tear tap to adhere the window piece to the back side of the door. We took the foam strips and adhere them to the window pane and filled it up with some of the Effervescent embellishments. We stamped out sentiment on a the Very Vanilla piece that measures 1-3/4"x 3-1/8", play close attention so you have it facing the correct way when placing on top of the foam strips. (Kayla shows you to correct in the video if this happens)
We then layered all the pieces of card stock together like the image shown.
