Bloom Where You’re Planted Suspension Card
Although this card looks like it’s complicated to make, it’s actually pretty easy! We’re also channeling everything GREEN because we’re getting ready to celebrate St. Patty’s Day over on our Instagram. Make sure to follow us over there so you don’t miss out on all of the shenanigans!
We started off with a Garden Green card base and added the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper to the front and inside of the cardstock. For the inside of the card, we adhered another pattern of the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to more Garden Green Cardstock. Next, we scored the Garden Green cardstock that functions as the mechanism that holds the inside of the card up. Before adhering to the card base, we added the inside of the card to the mechanism using multipurpose liquid glue. For clearer instructions, make sure to watch our video below!
To make the belly band, stamp the sentiment on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock and die cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Fold the belly band around the card and adhere together. Adhere the sentiment to the belly band. Add rhinestones and a ribbon to the belly band and the front of the card.
