Godiva Candy Bar Holder

We stopped by the Dollar Tree and found some delicious dark chocolate Godiva Bars which you can also find on Amazon. Kayla immediately noticed how the gold foil on the candy bar matched the foil in the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper. To go with the candy bar holder, we also made a matching Cajun Craze card to go with it!

This Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper is really outstanding. We added a 4"x 5-1/4" piece of the DSP to the front of the card base. Similar to the Godiva Chocolate Holder, we stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze on Whisper White Cardstock and adhered it to a Copper Foil Sheet.

Make sure you follow along with our video below to see exactly how we put this box together for the Godiva Chocolate Bar. We scored a 5"x 7-1/2" piece of Cajun Craze Cardstock at 1/2" and 7" on the long side. Then we scored at 1/2", 2-1/4", 2-3/4", and 4-1/2" on the short side. While the cardstock was still flat, we adhered the 4-3/4"x 6-1/4" DSP to it.

Then we proceeded to crease the score lines with a bone folder. To finish things off, we stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze ink on Whisper White Cardstock and adhered it to a piece of Copper Foil (these were die cut with the Layering Circles Dies). Finally, we tied a bow around the box from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack.
