Make a Beautiful Beginner-Friendly Card in Minutes

Writer: Nancy & KaylaNancy & Kayla

Starting out with card making can be daunting with all the tools, techniques, and specialized terms. Let’s simplify things with this beginner-friendly project. All you need is some double-sided patterned paper (also known as Designer Series Paper) and white cardstock. Don’t forget to pick up your favorite stamp set and coordinating ink.

How to Make a Quick Beginner Friendly Card in Minutes

We started off with Thick Basic White Cardstock for the base and folded it in half. Next, we added another layer Basic White Cardstock and some pieces of the 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper (DSP). The sentiment from the So Sincere Stamp Set was stamped in Summer Splash ink and die cut out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. However, you could always use a circle punch instead of the dies if you're just starting out card making!

P.S. We want to get a special shout out to our friend, Marciene who sent us the card that inspired us to make this one! 🥰
