Making a Paper Purse using the Perennial Postage Bundle
Who would have thought you could make a paper purse that is also a card?! We made this adorable paper purse with the Perennial Postage Bundle which features an adorable stamp set filled with sentiments and a unique coordinating postage die cutting set. This card was inspired by Debbie Mageed.
The Perennial Postage Stamp Set is like a treasure trove of sentiments for every moment life throws at you. From sending love and support to dishing out big hugs or wishing a Happy Mother's Day, it's got all the feels covered. And the best part? You can mix and match these sentiments to create the perfect message for whoever you're sending your card to.
Now, onto the dies – these babies are like the cherry on top! They let you create custom postage stamp images that add that extra oomph to your cards. Whether you want a background image that steals the show or some smaller accents to jazz things up, these dies have your back.
For the base, we used Misty Moonlight Cardstock. Then we adhered the Flight & Airy Designer Series Papers to the inside and outside of the card/purse. We also stamped the sentiments on the Basic White Cardstock using Pretty Peacock or Misty Moonlight ink. For the handle, we used ribbon that coordinated which was the Misty Moonlight Inner Braid Ribbon or the Pretty Peacock Gold & Metallic Ribbon!
